Who is Lucas Gray?

Based in the Midwest, Lucas is a working Gaffer and Cinematographer with a passion for visual storytelling that spans decades.
“My obsession with imagery started early. In high school, I spent all my savings on my first DSLR camera. I became the designated photographer for my classmates, learning the basics of composition and exposure by trial and error. That curiosity led me to film school, where I realized that a camera is just a box—light is the paint.“
Since then, Lucas has built a career in the film industry, working on sets ranging from indie projects to major motion pictures. His credits in the lighting department include renowned films such as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 and Far from the Madding Crowd.
